A Night Of Fundraising For Puget Sound Honor Flight

We are so proud of our team at Merrill Gardens at Kirkland (Kirkland, WA). The community raised $1,750 dollars for the Puget Sound Honor Flight by hosting a talent show filled with amazing acts. Friends, family, residents, and staff all came out to participate in a night of fundraising for a great cause.

We had so much fun supporting Puget Sound Honor Flight and love their mission.

PSHF Mission Statement: To transport our heroes on “One Last Mission” – a trip to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at the memorials built in their honor. This trip is free to the veteran, and made possible solely through individual donations and corporate support – NO Federal funds are allocated to this program. With the hard work and dedication of Honor Flight hubs throughout the U.S., and their communities, over 100,000 veterans have made this cathartic journey.

Our favorite part of the night was the raffle drawing for a very special quilt created by Carol Roller and Lois “Pete” Haigh of Merrill Gardens. You can see the quilt pictured below.
