Start the Day Your Way Join friends in the dining room for a hot breakfast, cup of coffee, and conversation, or enjoy something lighter in your own space. If you have a kitchenette, you can also prepare your own meal. Morning Moments and Movement After breakfast, you’ll find a variety of ways to start the day. Some residents head to a light movement class, chair yoga, stretching class, or something similar. Others enjoy creative time with painting, writing, or gardening. On many days, organized outings to local favorites like museums or farmer’s markets are on the calendar. Monthly Highlights Beyond daily activities, our monthly calendar is packed with events to look forward to. Live music, guest speakers, themed and seasonal social events, cultural celebrations, and community outings are just a few of the ways we keep things fresh and fun. Lunch and Laughter Midday is a time for connection. The dining room buzzes with conversation over chef-prepared meals, featuring everything from fresh salads and sandwiches to comforting classics. We accommodate all dietary needs, so you can dine well every day. Afternoon, Your Choice The pace is yours to set. You might join a group for a collaborative art project or a thoughtful discussion, attend a cooking demo, take a walk or rest with a good book. There’s always something going on, but never pressure to join in.  Later in the afternoon, join a happy hour and live music or pick from various events. Evening Ease Evenings are calm and flexible. Enjoy a movie screening, attend a social club, or just relax in your apartment. Dinner is served in the dining room with plenty of variety, or you can opt for a quiet meal in your room. Unwind and Rest At the end of the day, team members are available to assist with evening routines, whether that means help with pajamas, medication, or just a friendly check-in before bed. You’ll find freedom, support, and endless opportunities to live life on your term at Merrill Gardens.
