Don is a proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran whose military service took him around the world. Though his travels and experiences were vast, what stands out most are the values he carried with him—loyalty, humility, and heart.
Today, Don is embracing a new chapter surrounded by community, connection, and comfort. He has written multiple science fiction books that have been very successful, and is always ready for the next adventure life throws at him. He’s a familiar, friendly face at Merrill Gardens, often found sharing laughs with neighbors, walking his furry pal, or reflecting on the meaningful moments that have shaped his journey.
“My life is happy,” Don says with a quiet confidence. And that happiness shines through—in the relationships he’s built, the stories he tells, and the way he approaches each day with gratitude.
