At Merrill Gardens, we know that every chapter of life holds something meaningful. Aging isn't about slowing down—it's about discovering new joys, continuing to build lasting connections, and embracing what makes life fulfilling.

It's for these reasons that we created our *Embrace Every Chapter* campaign. Just as we sometimes judge a book by its cover, we can apply that same judgement to other people — seniors in particular. This campaign aims to combat that type of thinking, and show that there are many chapters already written in a senior's life that we should take the time to learn. It's amazing what we can discover with just a few questions.

With that we would like to introduce you to the first video of our *Embrace Every Chapter* series. Throughout this series, you'll meet several inspiring residents from Merrill Gardens at Burien (WA). From raising families, to following their passions and dreams, and finally to living out their older years, these individuals show us what it truly means to embrace each chapter of life.

We asked each resident a variety of questions—from “What is your greatest accomplishment?” to “What advice would you give your younger self?”. Their answers are heartfelt, thoughtful, and often unexpected. Each story reflects a unique and powerful perspective on aging.

[Watch the video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZIfnsxEzRY) to hear their powerful reflections and discover why so many residents say this chapter is one of their best yet. Their stories are a reminder that aging isn't something to fear—it's something to celebrate.

At Merrill Gardens, we're proud to create communities where older adults can thrive, connect, and continue writing their stories with purpose and pride.

This is just the beginning. Stay tuned as we continue to highlight the voices of our residents.
