Giving Gratitude

Written by The Team at Merrill Gardens | Nov 19, 2018 8:00:00 AM

As a company, we believe our impact is all about the relationships we share.  We celebrate the joy of connection every day at our communities and we are grateful for the residents, family members and team members who are part of the Merrill Gardens family.

As we enter the holiday season, we are focusing on giving gratitude and we had special cards made so team members can easily let others know just how much they appreciate them.  We just love these special moments of gratitude. You can fill out your own gratitude card here

This is Ana from our Burien, Washington community.  She gave a gratitude card to Gloria and she says that she wants to let Gloria know how much she appreciates her.

"Gloria has always been an amazing resident! She has volunteered, done cooking classes for everyone and she is our resident ambassador! She exudes the active living lifestyle that Merrill Gardens residents enjoy," says Ana.

This is Suzanne at our Campbell, California community. giving her gratitude card to Fran.

"We appreciate Fran so much! She leads exercise programs and motivates other residents to participate in activities. She is also in charge of our Welcoming Committee to make sure new residents get familiar with the community.  We are grateful for her kindness and positive spirit," says Suzanne.

This is Dayna from our Bankers Hill community in San Diego, California sharing a moment of gratitude with Edith.

"Edith is one of my absolute favorite people.  She is always smiling, laughing, hugging and praying for me.  Edith is 95, has eight children and she is so full of energy every day," says Dayna.

Lisa from our community in Gilroy, California is grateful for Kate.

"I thanked Kate for writing the community newsletter every month and making sure it is distributed throughout the community on all the resident's doors.  Kate was thrilled to get my gratitude card and that made me so happy," said Lisa.

Staci (right) from our ChampionsGate, Florida community shared her gratitude with a fellow team member.

"Alexis is our Receptionist and she is so passionate about what she does. She keeps smiling and is so very genuine with all residents, family members and team members. She is very easy to work with and makes my entrance into work so very pleasant!" says Staci.

We want to encourage everyone to share their story and you can tell us who you are grateful for by clicking here. To thank you for sharing your gratitude story, we will enter your name in a drawing to win $100 for yourself and we will donate $100 to a worthy charity.
