We are so proud of the residents at Merrill Gardens at Oceanside for donating their time and resources to clip coupons together for military families. In 2018, they clipped over 60,000 coupons together!
This group of women clip coupons all year long for Support Our Troops and they are distributed to all branches of the military across the country. The ladies in the coupon club all have family ties to the military and are passionate about giving back.
They distribute flyers and information to other residents letting them know of this cause and how they can take part and help too! The group comes together weekly with their own coupons and coupons donated to them by their community.
Merrill Gardens at Oceanside residents are very close with military families, as many were in the service themselves as well as their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren have continued to follow in their footsteps to serve in the military.
They hope to exceed their 2018 record this year with the help of residents, team members and the local Oceanside community, it is an amazing group of effort put forth to military families in need.
