We are extremely honored to announce that nine Merrill Gardens General Managers are among the very first class of administrators who have earned the Certified Director of Assisted Living (CDAL) credential from the Senior Living Certification Commission.
“We are incredibly proud of our first group of General Managers who have become certified and we are particularly pleased that everyone from Merrill Gardens who took the test achieved their certification. We have always believed that our communities are managed by some of the best in our industry and this is more evidence to that point,” said David Eskenazy, president of Merrill Gardens.
We want to congratulate the following General Managers for achieving certification:
To become certified in this inaugural class, our General Managers passed a written examination based on knowledge related to the complex responsibilities of managing a community. The Senior Living Certification Commission partners with a professional testing company to ensure the examination meets a high standard of certification.
“We set the bar very high for our team members and they consistently rise to the challenge. Each Merrill Gardens General Manager will take the certification test this year as they become eligible and we expect to have 100% certification across all our communities. This certification demonstrates for us the critical attainment of consistent, relevant, measurable and industry-recognized standards of practice in the General Manager role,” says Eskenazy.
