As the summer is nearing its end, our residents are taking advantage of the last few weeks of incredible weather! With new outdoor adventures and some rockin' parties, it looks like the Merrill family had quite an exciting week.
Residents in Tacoma (WA) took to the water as they went on a cruise of the Puget Sound. It looks like they picked the perfect day for the trip as they had clear blue skies, took in some gorgeous scenery, and enjoyed a new experience with close friends.
Residents and team members at Carolina Park (SC) love to get outside and have some fun under the sun! This last week they took a trip down to the beach for some much-needed rest, relaxation, and of course to get in some tanning time.
While the group went down to the beach, other residents joined together for some friendly competition! Getting active and having fun, they were flying around the pool as they faced off in teams of two for the impromptu pool volleyball match.
Cottonwood Heights (UT) decided to take their lunch into the outdoors as a group of residents ventured to the park for a change of scenery. One energetic resident even collected an entire bag full of pinecones for a potential future project!
There was an exciting party at Barkley Place (FL) this week as they celebrated their 33rd anniversary! They pulled out all the stops including a live piano performance, delicious dinner, and of course, they had to invite Elvis out.
It looks like Elvis may have visited a few communities this week, as he popped up at Willow Glen's (CA) Annual Summer Luau! Colorful decorations filled the community as residents enjoyed some fantastic games, tasty treats and created a lot of memories.
