During this time we are extremely grateful to have such compassionate and creative team members leading our communities. We take every opportunity to thank them, and it has been heartwarming to see our residents show their appreciation as well.
At The Oaks (AZ), people took time to get crafty and showed some love by cutting out adorable hearts with uplifting messages. They taped them on the windows so our team would be able to see them throughout the day.
We are seeing so much kindness at our communities. At Carolina Park (SC), one resident displayed a supportive message on her door, and our team decided to pay it forward with an outdoor chalk message to delivery drivers.
At our Renton (WA) community, a local flower shop, Buds and Blooms, collaborated with the team to donate and distribute 147 gorgeous bouquets! The reactions ranged from smiles to singing, as one of our residents performed her 'thank you' song for the team.
Now more than ever it is so important to take every opportunity to pass along smiles when we can. The Pines (CA) team showed off some original ideas as they delivered wonderful assortments of veggies to their residents on April Fools' Day! Don't worry though, after all the laughs were had, everyone still got their donuts.
No matter how big or small the gesture, the love and support that is being shared is so important at this time.
