Bill Pettit, President of the R.D. Merrill Company, Merrill Gardens parent company, is thumbs up as we celebrate two new projects under construction.
The team in Anthem, Arizona threw quite a bash to kick off the start of construction for the newest additions to the community. Thirteen beautiful new stand alone cottages will adjoin the community and will be located on a separate private drive.
The cottages will be one story, free standing residences with a private patio space and a garage for a car and a golf cart.
Residents of the cottages will have full access to all of the amenities, activities and dining services at the community.
We also celebrated with a ribbon cutting for the start of construction for our brand new community in Rolling Hills Estates, located in California's Palos Verdes Peninsula.
Merrill Gardens at Rolling Hills Estates will offer 114 apartments with independent living, assisted living and memory care.
Its in a prime location, next door to the Peninsula Shopping Center and close to the Rolling Hills Country Club.
The new community is set to open in 2019.
