With Christmas officially in the rearview, we wanted to take this chance to recap some of the joy-filled events that happened over the weekend. Our favorite green friend stopped by a couple of our communities this past weekend as he took a trip to Auburn (WA) and also stopped by River Park (TX). The Grinch found happiness in the holidays, and he returned the favor to our residents by filling our halls with joy and spreading smiles everywhere he went! ![An Auburn (WA) resident take a picture with the Grinch.](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Image_2021-12-18_17-33-04_tpqsmm.jpg) ![A River Park (TX) resident takes a photo with the Grinch!](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/grinch7_sspkgl.jpg) ![A River Park (TX) resident takes a photo with the Grinch!](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/grinch5_vcqupj.jpg) ![A River Park (TX) resident takes a photo with the Grinch!](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/grinch14_xodewb.jpg) ![A River Park (TX) resident takes a photo with the Grinch!](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/grinch1_idbcvd.jpg) Santa made a surprise appearance at Turners Rock (MO) and the photos were absolutely incredible! We will never get tired of the endless amount of smiles coming from residents and team members, especially during this special time of year. ![Turners Rock (MO) residents take charming Christmas photos with Santa.](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/20211210_130408_pqcwr6.jpg) ![Turners Rock (MO) residents take charming Christmas photos with Santa.](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/20211210_132155_ysrawp.jpg) ![Turners Rock (MO) residents take charming Christmas photos with Santa.](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/20211210_133444_gygqby.jpg) ![Turners Rock (MO) residents take charming Christmas photos with Santa.](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/20211210_125555_rammwe.jpg) ![Turners Rock (MO) residents take charming Christmas photos with Santa.](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/20211210_111345_g7hgja.jpg) Our Washington communities at First Hill and Tacoma had quite the weekend as they went all out celebrating Christmas! First Hill had all of the special guests as Elvis, elves, Christmas carolers, and even a little reindeer made an appearance to share some joy and cheer. ![First Hill (WA) residents enjoyed their holiday festivities!](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Image_2021-12-23_15-39-27_mu5g4l.jpg) ![First Hill (WA) residents enjoyed their holiday festivities!](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Image_2021-12-21_14-48-07_o5sk9n.jpg) ![First Hill (WA) residents enjoyed their holiday festivities!](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Image_2021-12-24_15-49-57_bmrwd2.jpg) ![First Hill (WA) residents enjoyed their holiday festivities!](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Image_2021-12-09_16-07-10_mk3c1v.jpg) Tacoma residents and team members took part in a fun "Twelve Days Of Christmas" spirit week! The entire week was filled with festive outfits, games, treats, beverages, and a plentiful amount of holiday decorations to fill the entire community. ![Tacoma (WA) residents enjoyed their holiday festivities!](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/image_67516929_kqrhun.jpg) ![Tacoma (WA) residents enjoyed their holiday festivities!](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/image_67199489_pmhcxf.jpg) ![Tacoma (WA) residents enjoyed their holiday festivities!](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/image_67514113_h2nanj.jpg) ![Tacoma (WA) residents enjoyed their holiday festivities!](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/image_67213825_ucn2dj.jpg) ![Tacoma (WA) residents enjoyed their holiday festivities!](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/IMG_5913_e2hsky.jpg) ![Tacoma (WA) residents enjoyed their holiday festivities!](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/IMG_5914_tkqukf.jpg) With the holiday season not quite finished, we can't wait to see what exciting events our communities have planned as we head into 2022! --- #### Tag: #### Share: - [Follow us on Facebook](http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=https://blog.merrillgardens.com/a-very-merry-roundup) - [Follow us on Twitter](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?url=https://blog.merrillgardens.com/a-very-merry-roundup&text=A%20Very%20Merry%20Roundup!) - [Follow us on Linkedin](http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=https://blog.merrillgardens.com/a-very-merry-roundup) - [Follow us on Pinterest](http://pinterest.com/pin/create/button/?url=https://blog.merrillgardens.com/a-very-merry-roundup&text=A%20Very%20Merry%20Roundup!description=We've%20had%20a%20lot%20of%20fun%20this%20holiday%20season%20and%20love%20sharing%20these%20amazing%20moments%20with%20all%20of%20you!%20With%20Christmas%20officially%20in%20the%20rearview,%20we%20wanted%20to%20take[...]&media=https://5001117.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/5001117/Imported_Blog_Media/Image_2021-12-18_16-54-03_degyya.jpg) --- ##### [More posts](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/) ### Leave a Comment Below --- ![W3C](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hs-fs/hubfs/MerrillGardens_January2024/images/wcag2.1AA-blue-v_jaqpmq.png?width=368&name=wcag2.1AA-blue-v_jaqpmq.png "W3C") ###### Merrill Gardens [1938 Fairview Avenue E #300 Seattle, WA 98102](https://www.merrillgardens.com/communities) [206-676-5300](tel:206-676-5300) - [Privacy Policy](https://www.merrillgardens.com/privacy-policy) - [Accessibility and Non Discrimination](https://www.merrillgardens.com/accessibility-statement) - [Do Not Share My Personal Information/Limit the Use or Disclosure of My Sensitive Personal Information](https://conversionlogix.com/ccpa-opt-out/) Copyright © 2026 Merrill Gardens [Equal Opportunity Housing](https://www.hud.gov/program_offices/fair_housing_equal_opp)
