As Garden House Director of Merrill Gardens at Campbell (CA), Hazel Oriente has shown amazing leadership in navigating the last couple of years. Through her impressive work, she has been awarded a Certificate of Recognition from Dave Cortese, California State Senator.
Hazel has been a part of the Merrill family for the last three years as she started as a caregiver, studied to become a med-tech, and is currently training as a nurse. She has impressed everyone around her with her hard work and drive to make an impact every day.

Debra Gonzalez, Merrill Gardens at Santa Maria's Health Services Director, has been named the Certified Assisted Living Administrator (CALA) Clinical Nurse of the Year!
Debra has worked in senior living for 27 years and has been a part of the Merrill family for the last 13. She has been a strong leader at Santa Maria for a long time and continues to build meaningful connections with residents and team members on a daily basis.
