Team members and residents at Merrill Gardens at Green Valley Ranch in Henderson, Nevada hosted a fabulous international themed “Around the World” open house and a ribbon cutting ceremony at their community to celebrate their eight year anniversary.
The ribbon was cut by General Manager Linn Thome along with members of the Henderson Chamber of Commerce, Mayor March of Henderson, and special guests from the Disabled Veterans Color Guard.

Howard Perlman, the architect who designed the beautiful Green Valley Ranch community also attended the open house and chatted with residents and guests.
Following the opening ceremonies, guests were given a passport card and invited to tour the community. With each new tour destination they received a stamp on their passport card. The “Around the World” event was paired with appetizers and entertainment from the various countries represented including Italy, Greece, China and Mexico.
Executive Chef Yesenia Brooks and the dining team at Green Valley Ranch served an outstanding array of appetizers!
Attendees also enjoyed live music entertainment by Mama’s Wranglers, guest speaker presentations, and arts and crafts activities.
Residents of Merrill Gardens at Green Valley Ranch volunteered throughout the community, giving directions and stamping passports for guests. Such a fun party showcasing the great teamwork of residents and team members at Merrill Gardens at Green Valley Ranch!
