This week, residents all across the country broke out their crafting supplies and got into the festive spirit with some holiday-inspired decorations. Residents and team members in Gilroy (CA) participated in a friendly competition as they had a holiday decorating contest! Whether they were handmade or bought, everyone got to work filling the community with all of their best festive flair. Seeing all of the decorations go up is one of our favorite times of the year! ![A Gilroy (CA) residents shows off her handmade bouquets! ](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Image_2021-12-06_17-12-32_zr5fox.jpg) ![Gilroy's holiday decorations were unmatched as they were filled with creativity!](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Image_2021-12-06_19-50-35_mzfjyz.jpg) ![Gilroy's holiday decorations were unmatched as they were filled with creativity!](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Image_2021-12-06_19-51-17_yce2b0.jpg) ![Gilroy's holiday decorations were unmatched as they were filled with creativity!](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Image_2021-12-06_19-50-59_aefh2m.jpg) Residents at Arbour Square (PA) brought out the paint as they customized some adorable wooden gingerbread houses. We love how these turned out, and they look like so much fun! We might need to pick some up for our own homes. ![An Arbour Square (PA) resident shows off their wonderfully painted gingerbread house!](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Arbour_Square_Gingerbread_Houses_2_jxsxhm.jpg) ![Arbour Square (PA) residents working hard on painting their gingerbread houses.](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Arbour_Square_Gingerbread_Houses_1_jfwhel.jpg) Our team in Bradenton (FL) decided to tap into a classic as everyone made their own unique paper snowflakes! After the crafts, each resident also got a tasty homemade milkshake to cap off the afternoon. ![A Bradenton (FL) resident shows off her handmade snowflake!](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Bradenton_Snowflakes_and_Milkshakes_1_xmbwq6.jpg) ![Bradenton (FL) residents filled the tables with their unique snowflake designs.](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Bradenton_Snowflakes_and_Milkshakes_2_nixqlg.jpg) At River Park (TX), residents wanted a little something to spice up their doors, so naturally, they went with bright and colorful wreaths! It's always exciting to see the direction each person takes, and all the different styles when everyone is finished.  ![River Park (TX) residents put together some incredible wreaths to decorate their doors.](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/20211206_102039_mtbqub.jpg) ![River Park (TX) residents put together some incredible wreaths to decorate their doors.](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/20211206_102124_rbpav3.jpg) From the Merrill family to yours, we hope you have an incredible holiday season.
