Every day we see heroes walk in the doors of our communities, equipped with kindness, positive and uplifting attitudes, and an incredible sense of compassion. They constantly go above-and-beyond and we try to take every opportunity to say thank you. We sent a "hero" sign to each of our communities so that they would see it each day as they came to work, as a reminder of how much they are appreciated. Our team at The Oaks (AZ) shared that appreciation as they took a group photo! ![](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/IMG_7931_pogl7b.jpg) The team members at Lionwood (OK) went all out with the hero theme, as they took some fun photos with the sign and an exciting background. ![](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Lionwood2_xy2xro.jpg) ![](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Lionwood1_su9vy6.jpg) It's great to see our communities display their signs proudly and we hope that they know how much they mean to us.  A few other communities took photos of their signs as well, including Huntington Beach (CA), Burien (WA), and The Pines (CA). ![](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/HuntingtonBeach_xl6gmb.jpg) ![](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Burien_hiivmu.jpg) ![](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Pines_zvcqw3.jpg) We want to thank all of our heroes, and encourage you to show appreciation to the heroes in your life. --- #### Tag: #### Share: - [Follow us on Facebook](http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=https://blog.merrillgardens.com/it-s-a-bird-it-s-a-plane) - [Follow us on Twitter](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?url=https://blog.merrillgardens.com/it-s-a-bird-it-s-a-plane&text=It's%20A%20Bird,%20It's%20A%20Plane...) - [Follow us on Linkedin](http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=https://blog.merrillgardens.com/it-s-a-bird-it-s-a-plane) - [Follow us on Pinterest](http://pinterest.com/pin/create/button/?url=https://blog.merrillgardens.com/it-s-a-bird-it-s-a-plane&text=Its%20A%20Bird,%20Its%20A%20Plane...description=In%20order%20to%20be%20a%20hero,%20you%20don't%20have%20to%20be%20able%20to%20fly%20or%20save%20the%20world%20from%20the%20next%20meteor.%20Every%20day%20we%20see%20heroes%20walk%20in%20the%20doors%20of%20our%20communities,[...]&media=https://5001117.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/5001117/Imported_Blog_Media/042820a_Corp_Thank_You_Heroes_48x36_Sign_002_yohbtc.jpg) --- ##### [More posts](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/) ### Leave a Comment Below --- ![W3C](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hs-fs/hubfs/MerrillGardens_January2024/images/wcag2.1AA-blue-v_jaqpmq.png?width=368&name=wcag2.1AA-blue-v_jaqpmq.png "W3C") ###### Merrill Gardens [1938 Fairview Avenue E #300 Seattle, WA 98102](https://www.merrillgardens.com/communities) [206-676-5300](tel:206-676-5300) - [Privacy Policy](https://www.merrillgardens.com/privacy-policy) - [Accessibility and Non Discrimination](https://www.merrillgardens.com/accessibility-statement) - [Do Not Share My Personal Information/Limit the Use or Disclosure of My Sensitive Personal Information](https://conversionlogix.com/ccpa-opt-out/) Copyright © 2026 Merrill Gardens [Equal Opportunity Housing](https://www.hud.gov/program_offices/fair_housing_equal_opp)
