Over the last year, there has been a lack of positive news and hopeful updates showing up on our timelines and televisions. This week we have been fortunate enough to be a part of not only one, but three, heartwarming and exciting stories!
Our team members and residents at Merrill Gardens at Ballard (WA) were highlighted by a local news station as they received their first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. The story told here is truly heartfelt and we could not help but feel incredibly grateful for the incredible people we have in our communities. Merrill Gardens at Columbia (SC) also received their first doses of the vaccine and are looking forward to their next one. Millie, a 102-year-old resident at Raintree Terrace (TN), led the residents and team members at her community as the first one to receive the vaccine.
