We are bursting with pride and thrilled to announce that our very own Nkeiru (Ru) Uzegbu has received the Argentum Hero Award. This is an award that is given to just three people in the country to recognize their accomplishments in working with senior residents.
Argentum is the leading national association exclusively dedicated to supporting senior living and they represent thousands of communities across the country. Ru was chosen from hundreds of nominees nationwide for this very prestigious honor.
Ru is the Active Living Program Director at Merrill Gardens at Lafayette, CA and our company president Dave Eskenazy (above and below) had the pleasure of surprising Ru at the community with the announcement that she was chosen for the Hero Award.
The residents and her fellow team members are thrilled for her!
Ru has made an impact on so many lives at her community and she is so well deserving of this honor. She was recognized at the recent Argentum national conference where she officially received her award. We are so happy that Ru got to bring her mother with her to the conference so she could see her daughter up on the big stage!
