The residents and team members at Merrill Gardens at Kirkland (WA) came together to host a fundraiser for an organization close to the community's heart. Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center is a community where horses transform the bodies, minds and spirits of people with disabilities.
Since 1976, Little Bit has been a leader in the effort to help children and adults with disabilities to lead more enriched lives through hippo therapy, adaptive horseback riding, and other programs.
Our Kirkland community welcomed friends, guests from Little Bit and even a miniature horse to their recent fundraiser!
Residents gathered with their friends and family at the community to participate in the fundraiser while enjoying brunch and live music. The silent auction included donations from local Kirkland businesses, resident and team member contributions.
We loved getting together with our community to support such an amazing organization!
