They say competition brings out the best in people and that is certainly the case in our Spirit Week competition. The Merrill Gardens communities in Renton and Tacoma, Washington challenged each other and had lots of fun along the way.
Organized by the Active Living Program Directors at each community, there were lots of fun games for residents to compete in but the best part was the chance for residents at the two communities to get to know each other.
The two communities are separated by about 25 miles but that distance melted away as the two groups got to know each other.
They had lots of fun at the Spirit Week games but the best part was making new friends and sharing stories.
We think that everyone is a winner at Spirit Week!
