Residents in Gilroy (CA) showed off their skill and athleticism with an indoor Olympics! Everyone was able to show off their competitive side with a few games of cornhole and a variety of ball sports. The top finishers were awarded their very own gold, silver, and bronze medals! ![](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/IMG_6003_aqoqc7.jpg) ![](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/IMG_5999_sjf5cz.jpg) ![](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/IMG_5998_itcqfy.jpg) Our residents at Arbour Square (PA) were busy this week as they had an exciting cornhole tournament and some furry friends visit them for some much-needed puppy time! ![](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Corn_Hole_3_lcw1ka.jpg) ![](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Corn_Hole_1_sxdezm.jpg) We don't know about you, but after seeing these adorable puppies we're going to need some pet therapy too! ![](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Pet_Therapy_Patty_P_bwpbuc.jpg) ![](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Pet_Therapy_Bobby_C_dhobuw.jpg) Kristi, our Resident Nurse Practitioner at Bradenton (FL), brought in an entire farm of animals! She kicked off the show by running her collies through agility courses and showed off a few special tricks for everyone to enjoy. After the impressive obstacles, residents were able to take time with a couple of friendly goats and cute chicks! ![](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/100_0458_hmwcsg.jpg) ![](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/100_0457_cweyho.jpg) ![](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/100_0455_jhyli3.jpg) ![](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/100_0453_ygu9xd.jpg) No matter if it's a new game, craft, skill, or workout, we love to make activities exciting whenever we can! Residents at Carolina Park (SC) got in on a new Zumba class and had a blast breaking a sweat. ![](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/zumba_2_dtz3hc.jpg) ![](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/zumba_6_ohjfft.jpg) Whether you are playing games with friends or finding the nearest goat to hang out with, we hope you are having an incredible summer! --- #### Tag: #### Share: - [Follow us on Facebook](http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=https://blog.merrillgardens.com/what-are-we-up-to) - [Follow us on Twitter](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?url=https://blog.merrillgardens.com/what-are-we-up-to&text=What%20Are%20We%20Up%20To) - [Follow us on Linkedin](http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=https://blog.merrillgardens.com/what-are-we-up-to) - [Follow us on Pinterest](http://pinterest.com/pin/create/button/?url=https://blog.merrillgardens.com/what-are-we-up-to&text=What%20Are%20We%20Up%20To?description=The%20Merrill%20family%20is%20always%20up%20to%20something%20new%20and%20exciting,%20and%20this%20week%20was%20no%20different%20as%20we%20saw%20residents%20compete%20in%20their%20own%20Olympics,%20spend%20time[...]&media=https://5001117.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/5001117/Imported_Blog_Media/IMG_5995_exvtcj.jpg) --- ##### [More posts](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/) ### Leave a Comment Below --- ![W3C](https://blog.merrillgardens.com/hs-fs/hubfs/MerrillGardens_January2024/images/wcag2.1AA-blue-v_jaqpmq.png?width=368&name=wcag2.1AA-blue-v_jaqpmq.png "W3C") ###### Merrill Gardens [1938 Fairview Avenue E #300 Seattle, WA 98102](https://www.merrillgardens.com/communities) [206-676-5300](tel:206-676-5300) - [Privacy Policy](https://www.merrillgardens.com/privacy-policy) - [Accessibility and Non Discrimination](https://www.merrillgardens.com/accessibility-statement) - [Do Not Share My Personal Information/Limit the Use or Disclosure of My Sensitive Personal Information](https://conversionlogix.com/ccpa-opt-out/) Copyright © 2026 Merrill Gardens [Equal Opportunity Housing](https://www.hud.gov/program_offices/fair_housing_equal_opp)
