At Merrill Gardens, we love to take every opportunity to celebrate, especially when it comes to our resident's birthdays! You only get one birthday a year, even if it is during a pandemic, and it's great to see our teams make it feel as special as it should be!
Lena, a resident at The Pines (CA), had a day filled with birthday presents as she celebrated her 100th! Alongside her gifts, cards, and balloons, she was able to spend her special day talking to her family on a video call.
Our team at Merrill Gardens at Ballard (WA) got creative with their birthday parties, as they found a way to bring the party to their residents. Each resident was surprised with a birthday celebration in their doorway, complete with cupcakes, dinner, balloons and more!
Our community in Rockridge (CA) set up a surprise birthday greeting for their resident, Mary, who turned 98 this year! The team went above and beyond with a huge banner and gifts including flowers, balloons, and yummy snacks.
It's incredible to see how much love and appreciation goes into organizing all of these birthday celebrations. We cannot thank everyone enough for making these days feel special, and would love to personally say happy birthday to everyone celebrating!
